WHISPER NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!     Name:  Whisper         Best Guess for Breed:  Lab and border collie mix  Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of October 2025        SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight: 48.2 lbs as of 10/25/25 – she is still growing!   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home Whisper is Looking For:   Her forever home! Whisper and her sister Lily have had fun growing up together but they’re ready to split up and get their own human families. Whisper is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together.  Most of all, though, she wants to know she is safe and loved. In exchange she promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she can store up, and loyal companionship for all her days.
