She has a submissive personality and looks to her people for reassurance and guidance. She loves to cuddle and snuggle with her favorite people (and everyone is her favorite people!) She is housebroken and crate trained. The foster family states that they have two small children and Winnie never tried to take food from their hands. In fact, you can remove food from Winnie’s mouth, and she gives it up willingly. She sits and waits patiently for her meals. She lived with a dog in the foster home and has done well in play groups at the shelter. We are continuing her leash training because she tends to pull. She wears a harness and that helps. She loves receiving and giving affection and attention. She is a hugger and cuddler and gives kisses freely. She allows petting all over and is easily handled. The foster family was asked to describe her personality, and they said ‘sweet, loving, playful — just a perfect dog’. She is eager to learn and likes to please her people. Her favorite thing besides the kids is stuffed toys. She likes to carry them around with her. The foster family felt she was too focused on the cats but when directed to ‘leave it’ she would. They feel like she is trainable with cats for anyone wanting to put in the time to train her. This is one amazing little girl! Winnie is listed in the age range of 6-10 yrs. and weighs 49 lb., is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated. Come meet this sweet girl at Citrus Co. Animal Services, 4030 S.
