Hello, my name is Wren. I am a 6 week old domestic short hair kitten that weighs 1.6lbs. I was found by a citizen that was unable to keep me, and I am now looking for my FURever home! I am currently in foster while waiting to find a family of my own. I am currently available for pre-adoption and will be able to go to my FURever home on 8/4/25. I have done well with kittens and cats, but dogs will be a new experience for me. I am on dry and canned kitten food. I am using the litter box well. RAC staff will reach out to schedule a meet and greet with approved applicants. My adoption fee is $75 which includes my spay, rabies, microchip, first FVRCP vaccine, and dewormer. I will be required to return to RAC on Wednesday, 9/3/25, for my spay and rabies vaccine.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
