Hi, my name is Xhaka. I&#39m a pretty female short-haired Tabico with an estimated DOB of 4/14/23. When I first came to Wild Blue, I had recently delivered babies so I went to a foster home with my kittens. Now that all my kittens have been adopted, I&#39m ready for my turn to find my furever home. I&#39m a young, playful girl who loves quiet wand toys and catnip. I have plenty of energy to spare, and I connect with my humans thru daily play sessions with feather wands or wiggly toys. When it comes to meeting new humans and their approach, I&#39m a little reserved yet. I prefer a slower greeting to give me the chance to sniff before starting to pet me. Once I approve, I&#39ll lean in and give head butts, and let you know I&#39m ready for pets on my favorite places – my head and cheeks. I am most comfortable when you pet me with just one hand for now, and allow me to be the one to make the first move. You&#39ll know I am truly enjoying the company when the kneading starts. I am still nervous about being picked up and can scoot away quickly. I am sure in a patient adult home with calmer, older kids who understand my need for patience, I will blossom with time and grow in my comfort with touch. I was part of a large group of kitties who were living indoors so I am ok with other kitties around. I prefer my own space for now, and will need a slow and gradual introduction into my new home and with any other pets, per Wild Blue&#39s instructions.
