Meet sweet, shy, darling Yma Sumac! Yma was part of a TNR project ,but it was apparent this girl was not feral, just a shy girl who needed some patience and time to learn that humans aren't so bad. Yma is on the shyer side but is slowly learning to trust with consistent routines and petting during meal times. Yma will need a patient adopter who will give her time to adjust and help her to continue to build her confidence. It has been a pleasure to see her progress daily with slow blinks and treats. She gets along fine with other cats and she truly forgets her fear when there is a Churu treat involved! Yma Sumac is about 8 months old. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, treated for fleas and parasites and tested FIV-/FeLV-. She would do best in a home with another friendly pet who can help her to continue to blossom and come out of her shell.
