She was adopted as a puppy by owners who loved her but quickly found themselves unprepared for the unique needs of this powerful, intelligent breed. Thankfully, they recognized this early and enrolled Zeena in a board-and-train program, where she made great progress—and so did her owners in understanding how to better support her. Zeena is house-trained, rides well in the car, and has a naturally affectionate temperament. She’s still young and learning, and while she’s made strides, she will thrive with an experienced owner—ideally someone familiar with Cane Corsos or dominant breeds. She needs continued socialization and clear, confident leadership to grow into the balanced, loyal companion she’s meant to be.
