Zeg and Darington are absolute characters and complete heart-stealers. These two are not shy about asking for affection—in fact, they’ll stand on their hind legs, wave their front paws, and meow loudly until you pick them up. We call it “asking for uppies,” and it’s impossible to resist. Honestly, if an infant carrier for cats existed, we’d be using it daily. Zeg lives for action and being part of the fun, especially when it involves our toddler. He’s a huge fan of story time, playing with toy cars, and is surprisingly helpful when it’s time to wake our son from naps. Kisses, cuddles, being carried around—Zeg is all in and loves feeling included in everything. Darington enjoys playtime too, but his true passion is cuddle time. He patiently waits for someone to sit down so he can hop up and soak up the love—and if that moment doesn’t come quickly enough, he’ll let you know he’s ready for snuggles. Both boys are delightfully quirky. They love riding around on shoulders, falling asleep on your head, making expert-level biscuits, and purring as loudly as possible. They’re also fascinated by water—chasing toys in the bathtub is a favorite activity, and Zeg especially enjoys fishing ice cubes out of a bowl. When they’re not busy being with their humans, you’ll find them snuggled together on a cozy throw blanket. Zeg and Darington are funny, cuddly, mischievous, deeply affectionate, and truly special. They are the kind of cats you fall completely in love with. Our family adores them, and if we could adopt them ourselves, we absolutely would. We’re hopeful that a wonderful person or family will see these two and realize they’re the missing piece their home has been waiting for.
