Meet Zuni! DOB: September 2024Weight: 27 lbsDisposition: Smart, Friendly, IndependentZunii is a friendly dog who is interested in visitors and will follow you around. She’s a bit independent initially whne other dogs are around as well. Zunii likes affection and being petted. She gets along well with other dogs. While out walking, Zunii is curious and interested in sniffing other dogs and people when walking past them. She was a little nervous walking in a busy area but continues on easily with encouragment. While off lead, Zunii calmly explores thesurroundings and will follow people around. History: Zunii was nine months old when she arrived at Soi Dog Foundation’s hospital in Thailand inJune 2025 after being involved in a road traffic accident. She suffered a hernia and hada severe infection from a fracture to her left hindlimb. Immediate surgery was requiredand unfortunately, amputation to Zunii’s leg. With intensive care and support from thenursing team, Zunii recovered from surgery, is weight bearing on all three limbs andmoves without pain or lameness.
