Park Pups came to AHS after living outside with their mama during the recent cold snap. They are a coon hound/pitbull mix, which give them all the wrinkles AND all the ears!Zuzu was named after Zuanich park. His beautiful, shiny black fur is a bit shorter than his siblings and oh so silky smooth. Zuzu sometimes gets called Mr. Sassypants, as he likes to stomp his little front paws at you when he wants something- whether it is to play or to tell you you’re not getting the treats out fast enough. He certainly has a personality! Zuzu is a lover- he likes to know where his people and friends are, and may whine if he feels too alone. He is often the first to greet you in the morning, coming in for a good scratch and some love. Zuzu loves exploring his foster’s yard, rolling in the dirt, and chewing up pinecones. He also loves a good game of chase or wrestle with his siblings. Zuzu can sleep with the best of them, and has excellent snoring skills for such a little dude.Zuzu has been fostered with dogs ranging from 30-60lb, and he has wanted to be friends with them all. He has had the chance to be curious about cats, and has lived with 9 and 12 year old kids. Zuzu would love to be your best friend, at your side all the time, or he would love to pal around with an older, playful dog who can take him under their wing.These cute and cuddly pups are almost 12 weeks old (born on 12/17/24), have received their first round of vaccines, and are ready to melt hearts. These pups will need to be signed up for a basic obedience class prior to being adopted.
